Fellow Cooks and Chefs, Next month is a big month for military food service. The United States Army Culinary Arts Program presents the 33rd Annual US Army Culinary Arts Competition held in Fort Lee VA. -Competition- “This culinary competition continues to be the largest culinary competition in the United States. Invitations for celebrities and celebrity judges have gone out. We hope to have a few celebrity guest judges and anticipate that we will have teams from all branches of service. The competition is open to individuals or Teams that are active duty Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine, Navy, National Guard, Army Reserve and DOD civilians. The show will be begin with the Team Managers Meeting/ Team Captain at 0700, 1 March 2008, and will conclude after the award ceremony at 1200, 14th March 2008 The 33rd Annual Army Culinary Arts Competition is open to public viewing on 12th and 13th of March.
