November 2007 – February 2009
During the final preparation and last minute logistics, I was assisting in the Commandants Flag Mess for a period
of six months. During this time, I aided in the daily operations providing service to the senior level service
members stationed in the local area. In addition, I volunteered to assist the local Representational Facilities to
ensure high profile functions went without flaw.
During the opening stages of the Executive Dining Facility, I am part of a team that had an intricate role in the
overall success of the Dining facility. I am responsible for all on and off site catering events that take place
throughout that local D.C. area. I assist in the food procurement, preparation, and provide high quality service to
the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Chief of Staff of the Department of Homeland Security as well as the senior
executive members assigned to DHS.
UNITED STATES COAST GUARD RECRUIT TRAINING CENTER CAPE MAY, NJ
Food Service Specialist 1st Class:
June 2005 – October 2007 (Recruit Company Commander)
As a Recruit Company Commander, I was responsible for the training and mentoring of junior personnel who make
the life altering decision to join the Coast Guard by creating such an environment conducive to structured

TAD ASSIGNMENT UNITED STATES COAST GUARD CUTTER RELIANCE, PORTSMOUTH, NH
Food Service Specialist 1st Class: February 2008
While TAD onboard the RELIANCE, I served as support for the ships dining facility in the absence of the Chief
Food Service Specialist. I aided in the food preparation and serviced for the crew during Alien Migration
Interdiction Operations in the Florida Straits. I took immediate charge of a complete galley field day to improve the
sanitation and overall outward appearance.

January 28, 2007-Febeuary 19, 2007
While TAD onboard the RELIANCE, I served as support for the ships dining facility. I aided in the food preparation
and serviced for the crew during Alien Migration Interdiction Operations in the Florida Straits. In addition, I
provided training to junior personnel on sanitation and food preparation as well as supplement the ships migrant
watch. I implemented an in-port Officer of the Day galley sanitation checkout form that is currently used in the
everyday operations.
COMMANDANTS FLAG MESS, COAST GUARD HEADQUARTERS, WASHINGTON, DC
Food Service Specialist 1st Class:
July 2003 – May 2005 (Mess Manager)
As the Mess Manager in the Commandant’s Flag Mess, I was responsible for the overall daily operations.
Customer service was the main objective during any given day. I was responsible for the menu planning, food
procurement, meal preparation, and supply procurement. I often volunteered to assist with the food preparation
and service at the surrounding representational facilities. I arrived as an FS2.

July 2002 – July 2003 (Food Service Officer)
As the Food Service Officer onboard the MANOWAR, I was responsible for the overall daily operations of the
Dining Facility. I maintained accurate Coast Guard Dining Facility Reports as well as ensuring a well balanced diet
for the crew. I arrived as an FS2. Listed were the qualifications held while onboard:

While stationed aboard the ACUSHNET, I started off as a duty cook. I soon made FS2 and took over as the Jack of
the Dust. I was responsible for ensuring required items were procured and placed in their proper places and
ensuring the proper placement of all items in the Dining Facility records. I arrived as an SNFS. Listed were the
